I have observed this ritual performed by mortals before, but have never taken part in it myself. Partaking in such mortal magic would have been detrimental, if not dangerous to a young demon such as myself. Wisely I remained at a safe distance away from their ritual site, in the company of elder demons who could protect me while my barrier magic was still developing.
