Thats a great idea too!!! Do you think you have time to let me in today
<BeastofPerdition>
Yes, this plan is of a splendid design!
[Hold on let him check his schedule real quick...]
It should be little issue allowing you audience with them today.
My shift begins within the hour, if you wish to rendezvous soon.
If not, you are welcome to appear at a time most convenient to you.
[Included in this is the name and address of the pet store he works at.]

See you then!!
[So she shows up early on. She has the faint frazzled air that suggest she clocked out of her night shift pretty recently, though at least changed out of uniform into a Bavan fashion dress; it doesn't have pockets so there's a small purse around her shoulders, but more prominently, a period camera supported by a leather strap similar to her setup on the island.
Whether Kurumi's post yields glasses has yet to be determined but even if she does have them, she tucks them into her purse as soon as she walks in, revealing that:Her eyes have dilated pupils like a bird's but otherwise she looks exactly the same.]Morning, Tanaka.

The man she's greeting is much the same as always, even in the more professional looking uniform and apron for the pet store. His shirt is dark and short sleeved, revealing the left arm bandaged like always, but the right one now bandaged as well to the wrist. The fact that his hair is slicked back rather than styled up like usual just might be weird enough to distract from the four small protrusions growing out of his forehead - the start of horns. But who knows, maybe it won't be!
Before replying, he takes a moment to assess Mahiru's physical state, looking for any changes she may have gone through and watching for injuries she may have obtained, but he doesn't comment on anything he sees. Instead he offers her a polite nod.]
Good morning. You prefer to be the early bird rather than the worm, I see.
[Which is fine by him.]

More like the owl who hung on to scoop up the last of the worms. [Since her night shift is still a thing. Is she an owl? Mami had come out before the sun completely left the sky - maybe harpies don't have the same problem as some of the other monsters.
Mahiru claps her hands as she steps further into the store and more of the shelves come into her view.] Do you actually feed worms to the birds? Or just other stuff? [Maybe she would already know this if she had spent more free time with him. Oh, well, no time like the present.]
